Full Mix Marketing Featured in Women in Business

We’re delighted our Managing Director, Sarah West, has today been featured alongside other successful East Anglian businesses in the Eastern Daily Press (EDP) ‘Women in Business’ feature.

Sarah West – Full Mix Marketing

Founded in 2016, Sarah West’s marketing agency has a strong portfolio of clients, employs five staff and is an award-winning Future50 business.

After 15 years leading marketing for others, Sarah West spotted the gap for an agency focused on delivering result-driven marketing. Two years on, Full Mix Marketing has five staff and a strong portfolio of clients in sectors including manufacturing, services and retail.

“The Full Mix team has great skills – and we know how to turn them into the results businesses need,” says Sarah. “For me, the biggest buzz is when clients tell us the real difference our marketing has made to their success.”

Networking plays a crucial part in Sarah’s business life and she has become a well-known name in the local business community. In April, she gave the keynote address at the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s B2B Conference, and in June 2018, she won the Institute of Director’s New Director of the Year award for the East of England.

Sarah believes the biggest barrier to women’s entrepreneurialism is risk. “Many entrepreneurs I meet are either confident of success or have little alternative. Maybe we need to encourage more
women to take risks too.” She is optimistic about the current climate for women in business and has some encouraging words for women starting out or thinking about a future in business. “Women have increasing financial or family responsibilities, but the business environment for women has certainly improved. Not only are there fewer boundaries but most people find any discrimination totally unacceptable.

“I’m inspired by businesswomen like Baroness Michelle Mone (founder of Ultimo), who don’t let barriers stand in their way.” adds Sarah. “I don’t think women need to be any less feminine, just prepared for the challenge. And take people along with you – you’ll need their support and skills. People buy from people, so be the type of person others want to do business with.”

Full Mix Marketing Join Cambridgshire Chamber of Commerce

We’re delighted to announce we’ve become members of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce.

More companies across East Anglia want to invest in strategic, digital and offline marketing which delivers a return on investment. As such, we’re expanding. Already proud members of Norfolk and Suffolk Chambers of Commerce, we’re now aiming to help more businesses throughout Cambridgeshire and beyond.

We’ll be exhibiting at this year’s Cambridge B2B Exhibition on Thursday 20th September at Quy Mill Hotel & Spa in Cambridge. We’re very much looking forward to meeting other members from Cambridge, Peterborough, Huntingdon and throughout the county.

As one of the few truly strategic marketing agencies in East Anglia, we’ve been named a Future50 ‘Business to Watch’. We’ve enjoyed a close relationship with Norfolk and Suffolk Chamber and been honoured to be asked by them to present and comment on effective digital, offline and B2B marketing. We’re keen to play an equally active role with Cambridgeshire Chamber and help other members to get the results they need from marketing.
